If the Birds Sing
Si los pájaros cantan
Watch if the birds sing on Soap2day. We retrace the path that was used by the women who walked up to the penitentiary of Fort San Cristóbal to help political prisoners between 1934 and 1945, as Spain went through Republic, Civil War, and Franco’s dictatorship. We search for their footprints, listen to their voices. The earth remembers.
